Fresco Kyoto, a five-piece indie band from Brisbane, Australia, was in need of an updated logo to accompany the release of their latest EP, Crave for Colour. In contrast to the logo design concept I previously did, we opted for a more organic style with the typeface and an icon that was a bit more unique. After a few different mocks, we landed on this final logo design: the logotype accompanied by a tree with five arrows, one for each of the band members, all pointing up. The natural typeface pairs nicely with the icon of the tree, but each piece was created so that it may stand alone or be used together.

To help build the excitement around the new logo, I worked with the band to help release some promotional materials with the logo. This included an animated logo video clip, shirt designs, and stickers. The shirts were released at their EP launch and can be seen spotted throughout Brisbane.
